O.D.B. is for the Kids

It looks like VH1 is taking Behind the Music to the next level. They have a new show called Inside/Out which is: is a cinema-verite documentary series from VH1 that captures an artist or celebrity as he or she faces a personal or professional crossroads. With extraordinary access to some of entertainment’s biggest names, Inside/Out… Continue reading O.D.B. is for the Kids

10,000 Hits

I just passed 10,000 hits (actually visits… hits are a bit higher) on this blog. I’m surprised that it reached that level so fast because my other blog, Trader Mike, is almost 3 months older but only has 5,600 hits so far. I wish I could say this blog has taken off because of my… Continue reading 10,000 Hits

My Spam Filter

I finally turned on SAProxy, the spam filter in the Bloomba email program. It’s working well so far, although a few legit messages have gotten marked as spam. Kobe & the Teen Choice Awards

Like one of the guys on Sports Reporters said yesterday — why would Kobe go to anything with the words ‘teen’ and ‘choice’ in the title?

Kung Faux

My TiVo just found a new show from Tommy Boy Films called Kung Faux. (What would I do without my TiVo working so hard for me?) It’s a series of Kung Fu films over-dubbed with the voices of hip-hop artists and a soundtrack to match. The episode I just watched was voiced by Guru, Jean… Continue reading Kung Faux

Making the Band II

HardCore over at Thought 4 the Day wrote a great review of Making the Band II. This pretty much sums it up for me (except for the ‘terrible’ part): However, if you have ANY knowledge about the music industry, if you’ve ever been a performer, or worked in the industry, THIS SHOW IS A JOKE.… Continue reading Making the Band II
