I just heard that Luther Vandross passed away today so I had to do a radio.blog of some of my favorite Luther tracks. People always say that “they don’t make ’em like this any more” but in Luther’s case that’s very true — voices like his don’t come along very often. I used to wear these songs out back in the day. His passing is sad…such a loss. Thank you for sharing your collection. He and his music will truly be missed.

Luther was the heart and soul of his time. His music made love seem like it ruled the world. His passing may be sad, but he is with God now watching over us. May God bless his family. RIP Luther we love and miss you. We will be with you again one day…
