Movable Type 3.16 released

Six Apart has just released Movable Type 3.16. Hopefully some of its ‘over one hundred fixes’ will fix the annoying problems I’ve had recently.

On a related note, this SpamLookup plugin looks like it’s worth installing. It’s so effective that Jay Allen, the author of MT-Blacklist has disabled his MT-Blacklist installation as is letting SpamLookup do all his spam blocking.

Fun times in MT world…

  1. You said it Alexa. It seems like a lot of these internet software companies don’t know how to test before releasing code to the public. Back in the day when I was slinging code we never had bugs in production releases! 😉

  2. We hated having to make people update MT all the time, too, and that’s what this version was about, fixing all the little bugs *before* they go out to users. We’ll try to do better on this in the future, too.
